The Patient Environment Specialist's main responsibility is to create and maintain a sanitary environment throughout JMCGH patient rooms that meet the standards and procedures set forth in the Environmental Services Department. Must provide an excellent customer/patient experience a minimum of three times a day using AIDET techniques and can execute scripting language specific to cleaning procedures and patient needs. Must be able to leave a remarkable impression of customer service to each and every patient. Individual will be responsible for the patient satisfaction initiatives of a 40 to 42 patient bed unit. Position is solely responsible for the results of HCAHPS initiatives and scores on their floor and adhering to all best practices to improve those patient satisfaction scores. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
