Assist the Central Service Manager with the planning, organizing, and coordinating of the distribution of materials and equipment process. Responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of the Central Services Staff. Under the general supervision of the Central Service Manager, the position requires direct management of Central Services 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, indirect management 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
Education: Associates Degree required or equivalent job-related experience.
Licensure, Registration, Certification: N/A
Experience: Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures. Ability to perform management procedures acquired through 5-10 years departmental experience in central stores or related field, preferred. Proficiency with Pro-click or similar automated inventory management software.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with Windows based computer applications. Must possess automated materials management inventory control systems skills. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
