Job Highlights:
Starting Pay: $83,000/yr
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human services field
- Five (5) years of experience with children/youth/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis in a residential setting.
- Three (3) years of experience in leadership with progressing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid and managed care.
Other Preferred Qualifications/Education:
- Master's degree in human services field
- Clinical Licensure (LCSW, LMHC, Psychologist, and other licenses) strongly preferred
This Opportunity:
The primary responsibility of the Director of Operations, Child Crisis Service is to provide oversight of the operations of PRTF services. This position provides leadership and coordination within the area of responsibility and serves as a tactical point person as it relates to the care of the people we support, staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development, and corporate-wide success. This person must be able to provide flexible work hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
What You'll Do:
- Provide overall leadership and management of daily operations within the PRTF.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide effective administrative supervision and oversight, as applicable and within accepted agency guidelines, to assigned staff. This shall include, but is not limited to, responsibility for hiring, discipline, termination, training, and performance appraisals.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across clinical, nursing, educational, and support departments.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of care and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation. Ensure regular and clear communication with staff on budget expectations
- Oversee billing, reimbursement processes, and financial performance.
- Ensure efficient facility operations, including scheduling, admissions, and capacity management.
- Ensure 24-hour coverage for individuals served, as needed.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, Medicaid requirements, Joint Commission standards, and other governing bodies.
- Lead audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support outreach and marketing efforts to maintain strong referral pipelines.
- Investigate complaints, prepare reports on resolution, and provide and avenue for timely resolution of all concerns and complaints, including review of incidents and ensure all documentation is completed, providing feedback and plans of action if change is warranted
- Coordinate and prepare staff for potential weather and other related disasters
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations, including implementation of safety measures for a safe milieu
- Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures
- Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
- Driving and travel may be required

Certifications We're Looking For:
Drivers License (Valid) - USA, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) - State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board
Experience We're Looking For:
Experience in leadership with progressing experience. | 3 Years | Required Experience with children/youth/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis in a residential setting. | 5 Years | Required Strong knowledge of Medicaid and managed care. | Required
