Quality & Food Safety Management:

Conduct Internal Audits in relation to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP as well as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
Conduct Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) studies
Investigate the relevant non conformances and lead the problem-solving process to close off

Processing:

Optimise the plant and achieve prescribed operational efficiencies
Optimise the process and achieve cost savings (chemical usage, utilities consumption, etc.)
Fault find and troubleshoot process problems
Assist with Production stock takes (weekly, monthly)
Review of SOPs, PFDs, forms and other documents related to the Production environment

Process Control:

Monitor Refinery Process Control Systems
Monitor processes quality, and rectify production problemsimplement corrective actions
Optimise process technology and design and apply modifications to existing process control systems
Manage the recipes in the control system
Manage process trials and make processing recommendations
Identify and eliminate unaccounted losses
Monitor and control utilities (steam, nitrogen, power, water, etc.)
Participate in planned 6-Sigma activities in line with Company objectives
Compile Monthly Operation Report for Production
Monitor oil yields and investigate variances
