About The Role
The ASO And Paid App Marketing Manager at Hargreaves Lansdown will be responsible for driving the visibility and performance of our mobile applications across app stores. This role sits within the Marketing team and reports directly to the Head of Performance Marketing. The successful candidate will lead the strategy and execution of App Store Optimisation (ASO) and Apple Search Ads (ASA) to maximise app downloads, user engagement, and ROI. This is a key role in enhancing our mobile presence and ensuring our apps reach the right audience effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and implementing ASO strategies to improve app visibility and conversion rates in app stores.
- Managing and optimising Apple Search Ads campaigns to drive high-quality installs.
- Conducting keyword research, A/B testing of creatives, and competitor analysis.
- Collaborating with product, design, and analytics teams to align ASO/ASA strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Staying up to date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in ASO and ASA.
- Managing relationships with external partners and platforms to enhance campaign performance.
About You
- In-depth understanding of ASO and ASA principles and tools and their operation/application.
- Substantial background in using analytics platforms such as App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Proven experience in ASO and ASA management, preferably in a financial services or regulated industry.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Familiarity with mobile app development and user acquisition strategies.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations in digital marketing.
Interview Process
The interview process for this role will include two stages with a task.
Working Schedule
This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
