Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Are you passionate about driving quality, solving complex problems, and making a measurable impact in high-volume manufacturing? Join our AP1 Laundry Production team as a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer, where you'll lead efforts to improve product quality, reduce cost, and ensure manufacturing excellence.

How You'll Create Possibilities

As a key leader in our manufacturing operations, you will:

  1. Champion quality: Establish, sustain, and continuously improve product quality through systems such as Training & Certification, QMS, TPM, Calibration, and Risk Management.
  2. Own manufacturing control plans (MCP): Lead training, execution, auditing, and improvement for all quality attributes in your assigned area.
  3. Lead problem-solving: Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA, SCAR/CAR), collaborating with operations, maintenance, and lean teams.
  4. Respond to issues: Address abnormalities in testing and performance, coordinating audits, product holds, and lab testing when needed.
  5. Support innovation: Partner with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to apply process capability knowledge to new designs, processes, and testing technologies.
  6. Analyze & act: Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) data, respond to trends, and lead corrective actions.
  7. Drive cost reduction: Identify and execute projects to reduce scrap costs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience of 5+ years’ experience with manufacturing quality/quality improvement projects and/or process improvement in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment or equivalent
  • Leadership & initiative: A self-starter with a proven record of leading cross-functional technical programs and driving results.
  • Technical skills: Strong background in multi-stage material processing (stamping, forming, welding), SPC, and data-driven problem-solving.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work across multiple levels—from shop floor to leadership—while influencing decisions and driving accountability.
  • Tools & systems: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Minitab, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and measurement technologies.
  • Experience with Controls, Systems, or IoT.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Process-oriented mindset with focus on both equipment and personnel.

What to Expect on the Job:

  • Primarily 1st shift; flexibility required for occasional support during weekends or 2nd/3rd shifts.
  • Travel up to 10% to suppliers or other manufacturing sites.
