As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. From driving capital equipment projects to supporting new product introductions, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, efficiency, and quality. This is your opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional leadership to deliver equipment and processes that keep our plants running at their best.
Lead capital equipment projects —from early supplier engagement and specification development to installation, qualification, and long-term reliability.
Drive projects focused on quality and audit laboratory equipment, with opportunities to expand into maintenance and tool crib systems.
Own and track key program metrics including labor plans, equipment/tooling budgets, and in-house quality testing.
Partner with cross-functional teams —product design, operations, quality, and EHS—to ensure new equipment meets safety, quality, and production requirements.
Design plant layouts, identify utility/space requirements, and ensure smooth equipment integration.
Coach and train operators, technicians, and maintenance teams on new equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Contribute to building a robust tool crib and maintenance capability to support long-term plant operations.
Requirements:
BS degree in Engineering or similar field, or equivalent technical/trade experience of 3+ years comprising of:
1+ years' experience managing capital equipment procurement projects, including specification development, equipment supplier selection, technical reviews, installation and qualification of equipment
1+ years hands on experience in manufacturing engineering and/or quality engineering
1+ years manufacturing experience
Ability to work in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels in the organization (both salaried and shop floor operators / skilled trades team members)
Good communication skills – will be expected to provide program report outs to cross-functional team
Ability to make decisions and willingness to take ownership of complex projects
Role will be in Louisville with potential for domestic travel during program launch periods.

This position is primarily based in Louisville, KY, but requires travel to other locations as needed. The primary work schedule is the 1st shift; however, occasional support during weekends, and 2nd shifts may be necessary.
