As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by delivering solutions that strengthen customer advocacy. In this role, you'll redefine partnerships in the retail pharmacy segment and position Essity as a trusted partner in the health and medical industry.
You'll manage and grow relationships with small to medium-sized strategic key accounts and banner groups in the pharmacy sector, with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth. This includes identifying opportunities within your territory, delivering training and educational workshops, and implementing tailored sales strategies to exceed targets. By cultivating new opportunities and deepening existing relationships, you'll ensure proposals, contracts, and pricing align with Essity's financial strategy while creating value for customers.
We're seeking someone independent, customer-focused, and proactive - ready to take ownership of their call cycle. Your efforts will drive adoption of Essity's innovative products, with a primary focus on Western Australia and South Australia. By leveraging your commercial acumen and industry expertise, you'll address customer needs, accelerate growth, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen our market presence.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow small–medium strategic accounts and banner groups.
Identify stakeholders, map sales processes, and uncover new opportunities aligned with Essity's financial goals.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, positioning Essity as a trusted partner and increasing advocacy.
Leverage CRM and Power BI to drive decisions, track performance, and meet call plan KPIs.
Create compelling business cases with clinical and financial benefits, negotiate contracts, and position products effectively.
Collaborate with Pharmabroker, sales managers, and marketing to achieve targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideally, you'll bring 5+ years of sales and account management experience with key pharmacy groups, including developing and executing call plans. We also welcome candidates from retail or FMCG looking to transition into the pharmacy sector. Experience in wound care, orthopaedics, or compression products will be highly regarded. You will also have:
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, tenders, and business agreements.
A proven record of delivering sustainable sales and account growth, particularly in retail pharmacy.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (highly regarded).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; experience with IQVIA and Power BI a plus.
Leadership skills to influence and collaborate across teams.
A strategic mindset with strong coaching and influencing ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
A valid driver's license, own car, and flexibility to travel.
Quarterly trips to South Australia.
