Key Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Key Account Manager to join our team in Espoo, Finland. As a Key Account Manager for Essity Professional Hygiene, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with major accounts to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in implementing account-specific strategies for our partner facility service companies, negotiating contracts, and delivering value-added solutions to our clients. Our brand Tork, a global leader in professional hygiene solutions, is at the heart of everything we do. Tork is committed to improving hygiene standards and business performance while promoting sustainability through innovative initiatives. This role reports to the Commercial Director, Finland & Baltics.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and secure profitable business.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales processes and account plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Frequently analyse customer information to identify and manage business risks and opportunities.
  • Recommend products and services (value propositions) that align with clients' business needs.
  • Drive contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, product offers, and pricing in line with overall product and pricing strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support to high-value clients by collaborating efficiently with our international key account team and ensuring the delivery of sales targets and commercial initiatives according to relevant Key Account Agreements.
  • Re-evaluate customer prioritization annually and propose actions to optimize performance.
  • Generate and share knowledge on market development, customer needs, and competitor activities with internal stakeholders.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Key Account Manager with a proven track record in managing large accounts and delivering business growth, preferably in a B2B environment. You excel at building strong relationships and negotiating effectively. Additionally:

  • You have strong communication skills (Finnish and English).
  • You are results-oriented and proactive.
  • You have a collaborative nature and work seamlessly in cross-functional teams.
  • You are skilled in analysing customer data and identifying opportunities.
  • You have experience in contract negotiations and account planning.
  • You understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • Knowledge and expertise of facility service companies seen as a bonus
