Internships will run from mid-May to early August. Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September. Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2026.

As a Retail Marketing Intern on Athene's Marketing team, you will gain hands-on experience in how integrated marketing campaigns are designed, executed, and measured. This role offers exposure to multiple areas—such as integrated and product marketing, distribution, digital marketing, media, and data & analytics—while supporting initiatives that drive demand and engage Athene customers across their journey.

Athene's Retail Distribution Channel serves customers in all 50 states, providing products in the retirement savings market, including single premium immediate annuity (SPIA), fixed (FA) and fixed indexed annuity (FIA) and registered index-linked annuity (RILA) products.

Accountabilities:

• Shadow and learn how marketing opportunities are identified, planned, and executed across functions
• Collaborate to explore tactics that can be utilized within promotional campaigns
• Assess current marketing campaigns and programs & recommend new opportunities
• Recommend marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and conversion
• Present recommendations on assigned marketing initiatives

Qualifications and Experience:

• Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
• Creative problem-solver who is detail-oriented
• Strong collaborator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects
