The Fleet Sales Territory Manager is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team that's redefining the car wash industry with a superior product, cutting-edge technology, genuine hometown hospitality, and a relentless commitment to customer-first thinking. In this role, you'll be a driving force behind expanding Tidal Wave's Fleet Program – connecting with businesses of all sizes, government entities, and organizations with a desire to look professional – introducing them to the value and convenience of partnering with us. You'll be laser-focused on sales execution, managing your territory with discipline, energy, and creativity to consistently meet and exceed growth targets.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Grow Fleet Sales: Identify, targeting, and converting new fleet clients (businesses, government fleets, service providers, etc.) into long-term partners.
  • Own Your Pipeline: Utilizing cold calls, as well as capitalizing on local site team and marketing generated leads, you will build and manage a database of current and potential customers and develop referrals to multiply your reach.
  • Drive Daily Sales: Plan and execute daily tasks with precision—calls, appointments, proposals, and follow-ups—with a focus on hitting sales KPIs and ROI goals, managing both new growth opportunities and current account management to add new car count and reduce account turnover.
  • Efficiency & Flexibility: Use a proven sales playbook while adapting your approach to different buyer types, organizational sizes, budgets, and industries.
  • Customize Solutions: Listening attentively to understand client needs and tailoring fleet program solutions that align with their goals, whether they manage 5 vehicles or 500.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with the operations and marketing teams to support local site leaders and on-site initiatives to provide fleet sales training, stimulate new leads, and deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new fleet accounts.
  • Territory Management: Get to know your assigned region to maximize outreach, close deals, make a smooth transition to onboard new clients, and service their accounts for further growth and referrals, on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Sales-Minded Professional: You've got a passion for selling, a hunter mentality, and a proven ability to close deals.
  • Highly Organized & Self-Driven: You're great at managing priorities, working independently, and keeping your pipeline full without losing sight of follow-through. You're mindful that sales is a numbers game and you must apply the discipline to make a high volume of calls and emails each day to produce effective growth.
  • Personable Communicator: You're confident, polished, and professional in all forms of communication, whether with home office staff, site employees, small business owners or large government fleet coordinators.
  • Collaborative Attitude: You represent the team and the organization well across departments, are team oriented, value feedback, and bring energy and focus to every conversation.
  • Proficient in Sales Support Tech: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and sales tracking platforms (Quick Base experience a plus).
  • Passion for Growth: You're excited to be part of something big and play a direct role in helping Tidal Wave grow its fleet footprint nationwide.
  • Results Orientation: You back into your monthly, weekly, and daily goals, managing your time to effectively hit your objectives, with relentless effort.
  • Possess Strong Character: You will represent Tidal Wave with distinction and integrity at all times, whether on or off the clock, being conscientious to use your time wisely as someone who has the responsibility to help our sites grow and thrive.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales and business development. B2B sales a plus. Fleet or automotive experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel regionally and to Birmingham, AL at least quarterly, less than 10% of the time, on average.
  • Job may at times require limited work in the evenings or weekends.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
