Terminology Project Manager

This role sits in the Language Assets team within Translation Services Operations. The Terminology Project Manager has extensive project management experience, organization and attention to detail, and excellent communication to manage multiple relationships with colleagues, external partners, and other stakeholders. The Project Manager is extremely familiar with the concepts of Translation Memories (TM), Term Bases (TB), and Style Guides (SG) and understands how they can be leveraged to improve translation quality and MT/LLMs. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and will be comfortable in finding solutions to make the best use of the technical tooling. The candidate will be comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment, where change and ambiguity are present as we constantly grow, improve, and innovate.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Manage tickets queue to perform TM updates requested by stakeholders
  • Coordinate transcreation tasks with our linguistic team ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders
  • Coordinate with language service providers to process TB terms and ensure a smooth delivery
  • Assets creation and comparison to ensure alignment across all databases
  • Perform manual TM clean-ups and support automations development
  • Maintain and optimize team communication channels through regular newsletter creation, wiki pages updates, and other internal documentation
