As a System Development Engineer within Kuiper's enterprise technology team, you will design and implement automation solutions that enable Kuiper's core infrastructure scaling across global manufacturing, launch, and operations facilities. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and software development, creating tools and platforms that enhance deployment efficiency, reliability, and monitoring capabilities.
Collaborate with TPMs, PM-Ts, and System Engineers to identify automation opportunities. Write and review code for infrastructure automation tools. Debug and optimize existing automation solutions. Participate in technical design reviews for new infrastructure deployments. Monitor and improve the performance of automation systems. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for new automation features. Contribute to post-mortem analyses and implement systematic improvements. Mentor team members on automation best practices and coding standards.
