We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Alexa Shopping team, which is responsible for multiple workflows and services that enhance the purchase experiences for Alexa customers. The Support Engineering team provides production engineering support. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment, working on various tasks that will shape your success. Additionally, you will assist in software product release coordination and deployment.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Providing support for incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks across multiple products, features, and services
- Supporting software deployment in both staging and production environments
- Developing tools to aid operations and maintenance
- Reporting on system and support status
- Owning one or more purchase experience customer experiences or components
- Coordinating and following up on customer notifications and workflows to maintain service level agreements
- Collaborating with multiple teams for handing off or taking over active support issues and creating a team-specific knowledge base and skill set
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence
- Prioritizing tasks and following through with a detail-oriented approach independently
- Exhibiting good verbal and written communication skills
