Devices & Services Trust, Privacy and Accessibility (TPA) organization is responsible for maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers across a diverse set of 30+ Devices and Services (D&S). We offer horizontal services for builders and customer-facing capabilities that provide customers to address trust needs of our global customers and to ensure compliance.
The DSTPA team is looking for an experienced Trust by Design leader who can drive technical product strategy for privacy and trust across Amazon's devices and services portfolio, navigate complex and novel customer trust scenarios independently, build scalable frameworks for emerging technologies like GenAI/Ambient Computing, and influence cross-functional stakeholders while delivering innovative solutions that balance customer trust, user experience, and business objectives across our global customer base. As a Sr. PMT, you will be responsible for designing, strategizing, executing, and prioritizing initiatives that enhance user transparency and control over their data, and leading with confidence in ambiguous situations and using both analytical data and user feedback to continuously improve the experience.
Key job responsibilities:
A day in the life:
In this role, no two days are the same — and that's by design. You will spend a good part of your time engaging with a wide range of cross-functional partners across engineering, legal, policy, risk, science, UX, and other product teams to gather insights, clarify trust requirements, and uncover both issues and opportunities. You'll participate in frequent brainstorming sessions to shape new ideas, solve complex trust problems, and design fixes that address not just immediate needs, but also set us up for long-term success. Staying connected is key: you'll attend cross-org syncs to stay informed on evolving strategies and dependencies, while also representing your work in key forums. You'll help drive the D&S product teams forward by scheduling trust forums, writing opinion papers to discuss Hotly Debated Topics within the product or CX to senior leaders — including VPs and SVPs — and ensuring what we build is responsible, innovative, and aligned with our broader vision of trust and customer impact.
