Central Operations (CO) serves as the backbone of Amazon Logistics (AMZL), enabling scalable management of our increasingly complex last-mile delivery network. CO plays a crucial role in executing optimal and cost-efficient route planning, labor planning, and last-mile on-road delivery experiences. This role offers an opportunity to support a rapidly evolving part of AMZL, leading the development of best-in-class operations that drive effective, real-time decisions to maximize both customer and driver experiences on the road. As Sr Mgr, Flow & Sorting, you will lead multiple programs to improve Under The Roof (UTR) Execution Processes, technology innovation and Multi Cycle Operations (MCO) workstreams across EU AMZL. You will manage UTR Flow management and Sorting execution to drive productivity improvements, capacity utilization, customer experience and safety. Additionally, you will manager MCO workstream across the year to drive capacity maximization in High Volume Events (HVE). This role requires close partnership with Operations, Supply Chain Planning Teams, ACES teams, Process engineering, Reliability & Maintenance (RME) and Tech teams. You will build and implement processes, systems, and mechanisms to effectively drive Day Zero (D0) execution processes to maximize capacity and cost reductions while protecting customer experience. Working with pan-EU and global (NA/JP) teams, you will drive both short-term process improvements and long-term strategic enhancements to maximize UTR capacity utilization and cost reductions while protecting customer experience. Additionally, you will lead, coach, and mentor a team of UTR Execution Managers and Specialists, fostering positive employee relations and developing leadership talent within the organization. This role requires strategic thinking to enhance our execution processes capabilities while ensuring operational excellence in real-time processes.
