Sr Financial Analyst
Amazon is looking for a Sr Financial Analyst to help lead and oversee critical functions within this rapidly growing organization. This Sr Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for partnering with the business, supporting decision-making, financial modeling, controllership, and operational cost controls. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various retail, transportation, and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and lead cost improvement efforts for operations. The Sr Financial Analyst will also conduct variance analysis for monthly/quarterly business reviews, as well as execute ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Leading the financial planning process (fixed costs, variable costs, and CAPEX), including quarterly and annual business reviews, as well as closings and reporting;
- Establishing partnerships across the organization, actively working as a business partner to drive improvement in financial and operational performance;
- Driving continuous standardization and simplification of planning and forecasting processes;
- Developing tools to drive better understanding of Brazil's performance;
- Building and analyzing financial models to provide recommendations to senior leadership;
- Owning the end-to-end process of an expanding operations chain at Amazon, leading strategic initiatives that support the accelerated growth of the fulfillment center network in Brazil.
