Supply Chain Manager At Amazon Key

As the Supply Chain Manager at Amazon Key, you will be a thought leader to identify strategic initiatives and work across organizations to manage an end-to-end deployment of automation solutions to delight our customers with fast and reliable deliveries. You will work with external and internal stakeholders to design and incubate operating plans, define operating requirements, develop execution plan and deliver on time and in budget deployment of new products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading cross-functional teams to manage projects from ideation to execution
• Leading the strategic aspect of building and scaling long-term automation solutions
• Leading operational and technology integration efforts
• Leading regular communication cadence with all stakeholders including effective representation during senior leadership reviews
• Leading efforts to build scalable mechanisms and standards
• Communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams to gain approval and deliver project schedules
• Addressing barriers through problem solving, communication, and active coordination with stakeholders
• Working within time constraints to meet critical business needs, often managing multiple, time-sensitive, and high-priority initiatives simultaneously
• Systematically escalating problems or variances in the operating plan to relevant owners and teams, following through to resolution to ensure solutions are delivered
• Navigating through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments
• Traveling up to 20% of the time

A day in the life of this person will lead effective execution of new automation product deployment across Amazon sites. He will engage on a daily basis with multiple external (vendors) and internal stakeholders (engineering, product, ops, planning, safety, and aces) to deliver high-quality, on-time deployment and post-deployment support. This is a fast-paced scope where the person will need to manage multiple priorities to deliver a product that improves safety and productivity of operation. The person will also lead communication to external and internal leadership.
