Senior Application Development Engineer

The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Business Applications & Technology (BA&T) team is seeking a Senior Application Development Engineer. The role requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to move quickly, and the flexibility to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have a strong technical background with experience in Electrical Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (preferably for both electrical schematics and PCB design) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. The role requires an individual who is customer-centric and able to work in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial attitude. They will be expected to collaborate with end-users and cross-functional development teams to define requirements, manage the system configuration, and continuously drive functional and operational excellence through workflow management. The candidate will be required to dive deep into the system architecture and product development processes to contribute to strategic planning for business scalability.
Key job responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot configuration and operational parameters for business applications.
- Develop and facilitate user training.
- Support application infrastructure in partnership with software development team.
- Administer ECAD applications.
- Create drawing/part templates and sheet formats for engineering teams.
