As an RME technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of machinery and workstations, always ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will help safeguard the safety of colleagues, preventing machine downtimes. Our RME team optimizes the availability and quality of our machinery and improves the overall operational environment.

Principal responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance interventions on a wide range of on-site machinery.
• Perform emergency repairs and fault diagnosis in distribution warehouses.
• Use state-of-the-art tools to maximize the effectiveness of machinery.
• Compliance with all health and safety regulations and practices.
• Favor the development and advancement of those participating in apprenticeship programs at our locations.
• Oversee continuous improvement projects and implement key procedures in a range of European locations.

A day in the life:

Our RME technicians operate in the field, so they can promptly intervene in the event of machinery problems. At set intervals, you will carry out a series of preventive maintenance interventions on the machinery of our locations, to ensure their proper functioning. As an RME technician, you will promptly intervene in case of breakdowns, investigating the causes and implementing solutions in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will indicate possible long-term improvements to be made to prevent future problems. By working alongside senior colleagues, you will carry out routine maintenance, such as painting or plumbing, with the support of external professionals if necessary. Your work will be organized in different shifts, to ensure 24-hour assistance, allowing Amazon to carry out deliveries with the speed that distinguishes us.
