Key job responsibilities:

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment, and help lead fundamental changes for our customers.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Communicating status and progress of deliverables to schedule, and sharing learnings/innovations with your team and stakeholders.
• Own and operate the systems that you build.
• Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement.
• Get firsthand experience engineering on AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and others.

A day in the life:

• You collaborate with your peers, product and UX on the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, code, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
• You attend Daily Standup to provide status updates.
• Actively participate in operational support for your team, and ensure that the root causes of operational issues are identified and resolved.
• Find out what it takes to engineer systems for "Amazon Scale" – get firsthand experience engineering client apps as well as AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB and others.
