We create the foundational infrastructure that enables teams building products like the Mobile Shopping app, Kindle, Alexa, Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Photos to move fast while maintaining the highest standards of quality and security. Mobile and device products are how hundreds of millions of customers interact with Amazon every day. Behind every app launch, every feature update, and every new device capability is a complex build and deployment pipeline. As an SDE II, you'll solve challenging systems problems at massive scale—from build orchestration and code signing to intelligent resource allocation. We're building next-generation mobile and device infrastructure that powers iOS, Android, and embedded systems development across Amazon, scaling to support thousands of developers and hundreds of thousands of daily builds.

What You'll Do:

• Own critical components of Amazon's mobile build infrastructure serving teams like Kindle, Alexa, Prime Video, and the Mobile Shopping app
• Design and implement systems that handle code compilation, security signing, testing, and deployment at scale
• Leverage automation and intelligent tooling to reduce build times and eliminate developer friction
• Scale systems handling continuous growth while maintaining high performance, reliability, and security
• Debug complex distributed systems issues across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, embedded)
• Mentor teammates on operational excellence, system design, and mobile platform best practices
