Engineering Project Leader

We are seeking a dynamic Leader to manage a team of high-impact engineers within our organization. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate extensively with both internal and external teams to design and implement high-quality, cost-effective solutions for our sortation and distribution systems. Your project portfolio will be diverse, encompassing green-field developments, brown-field expansions, and retrofits across a range of facilities including highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock operations, and transportation hubs. You'll have the opportunity to work on both template-based projects and those designed entirely from scratch, while also taking end-to-end ownership of Process Designs that complement each unique facility design. Key job responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the sortation and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
• Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects.
• Effective communication skills, ability to execute the vision, detailed roadmap, and specific technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
