Senior Financial Analyst

Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on our AWS Global Sales Planning & Compensation (SPC) Finance team. We are focused on ensuring variable compensation is equitable to sales reps, drives strategic outcomes for AWS, and is customer obsessed to build long lasting relationships. This role will partner across our SPC plan design team, economics team, research/data scientists, and partner finance teams. This role has potential to help peak around corners to ensure our sales teams are the most efficient and effective in the world.

Have you had experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments? Are you a self-starter with strong data gathering and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment? Key job responsibilities:

• Serve as a key finance partner supporting Sales Marketing & Global Services leaders providing financial support and business insights
• Lead the development of financial models and advanced analytical tools that aid in key decision making
• Build rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management

A day in the life:

Distilling complex data to simplified financial model and document outputs to help drive quick decision making. Directly partner with key business partners, help to deliver strategic projects.
