Position Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to senior marketing leaders via business reviews and frequent in-person client presentations to regularly iterate on and articulate a brand’s strategy.
- Work with sales, product, retail and other Amazon business partners to analyze and improve advertiser performance on Amazon, in support of their marketing initiatives.
- Analyze data and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of advertiser campaigns and develop new business opportunities.
- Influence marketing initiatives and own account-level data and/or analytics-related strategic conversations internally and externally.
- Regularly deliver tailored analyses and insights for some of the world’s largest advertisers to drive growth across advertiser KPIs.
- Educate other teams on Amazon media offerings by delivering learning sessions and writing training documentation and whitepapers for internal and external use.
- Evangelize data-driven decision making.
- Present findings and insights in a consultative way to stakeholders and collaborate with relevant internal teams to provide complete customer solutions.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) knowledge of SQL; (2) experience translating technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights; (3) applying understanding of basic statistical techniques and methodologies; and (4) applying understanding of distributions, expectations, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
- 100% telecommuting permitted, work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
