M365 Engineer

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. Kuiper M365 Engineering team configures, deploys and manages M365 productivity services, enabling collaboration through secure, reliable, and highly-available services. These services empower the daily operations for Kuiper Manufacturing and Kuiper Government Solutions. We are seeking an M365 engineer to efficiently design, implement, and operate M365 suite in GCC High Environment. Primary focus will be on maintaining reliable and secure M365 collaborations services, troubleshooting issues, and providing engineering support to our team.

Key job responsibilities include designing and implementing productivity applications in Kuiper environments using Infrastructure as Code, identifying, researching, recommending, and implementing Microsoft 365 services, serving as the administrator for M365 services, enforcing compliance with principals including least privilege access, password management, and audit logging for all productivity applications, driving third-party secure collaboration efforts to accelerate Kuiper projects, partnering with Amazon security organizations to ensure compliance with existing security policies, engaging with and influencing key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure compliance, security, and operational functional requirements are met or exceeded, creating and implementing automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability, developing monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of productivity services, and developing and maintaining documentation for the Microsoft 365 environment for both engineering audience as well as end users.

A day in the life as a member of M365 will involve joining morning standups to discuss progress on projects and services across the team, attending Operations reviews, Document reviews, and project meetings on meeting days, and having dedicated engineering days where you will be heads down on development, operations, and support.
