As an Industrial Engineer, you will develop innovative and complex factory layouts using simulation modeling to optimize our manufacturing operations and enhance production efficiency. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience designing and optimizing manufacturing systems from the ground up. They enjoy analytical problem solving and possess practical knowledge of factory design, process engineering, and discrete event simulation. They thrive in an interdisciplinary environment and have led the development of efficient manufacturing systems in highly automated environments.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Support cross-functional teams in factory design projects
  • Use simulation modeling tools to analyze manufacturing systems
  • Create discrete event simulations for factory validation
  • Learn and apply basic Lean/Six Sigma concepts to improve processes
  • Maintain material flow documentation for production environments
  • Support the maintenance of factory simulation models
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand factory operations
  • Prepare technical documentation
