Employer: Amazon Web Services, Inc. Position: Front-End Engineer II Location: New York, NY Multiple Positions Available: Create page designs in standards-compliant HTML and CSS. Implement functionality in JavaScript (and JavaScript-based frameworks/libraries) and server-side languages/frameworks like Node.js, Java, Perl, and Python. Collaborate with product and design team to define information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability. Work with back-end developers to create the best possible user experience and reduce the latency of page load. Maintain and update existing websites/web-applications. Collaborate with business teams to understand customer issues and investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions.
