Amazon seeks a FinOps Specialist to join the AWS Finance Automation Reporting Management team based out of Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be responsible for creating month end close reports, dashboards and supporting processes for various AWS finance teams. Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to details and technical ability to implement report automation is a preferred requirement for this position. Key job responsibilities include:
1. Transition and manage monthend close finance reporting using tools such as MS Excel, SQL, Tableau, IBM Cognos, Oracle etc.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.
3. Proactively identify optimization and automation opportunities aiming towards reducing manual effort and increasing controllership. Should be able to work with automation experts.
4. Provide data-driven analytics and support to business partners in identifying and resolving issues.
5. Drive a rigorous and proactive cadence of communications, keeping stakeholders informed on current statuses and engaged in key decisions.
6. Contribute towards preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews on the program's performance.
