At Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services, we're hiring Engagement Managers to lead internal AWS, external partner, and customer teams. Engagement Managers deliver AWS cloud products and services that enable our customers to realize their business outcomes. These professional services engagements focus on AWS solutions to help customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate Amazon Web Services (AWS).
DELIVERY - Plan, organize, and manage all phases of product and UX project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes developing project governance plans, schedules, team goals, milestones, budgets, and defining UX success criteria.
Demonstrate hands-on expertise in product management, UX strategy, and agile best practices across large and complex engagements.
Lead project teams to achieve customers' business outcomes by managing issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items while maintaining user-centered design focus.
Collaborate with AWS internal stakeholders to understand customers' needs, their business context, and UX requirements to exceed expectations in delivering customer outcomes.
Lead UX strategy development and design implementation for Digital Native Application Development, utilizing Design Thinking methodologies and tools like Figma, Miro.
Conduct complex and multi-dimensional user research and usability testing to identify pain points and validate design assumptions for entire customer journey.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps that translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Ensure UI/UX design consistency across multiple touchpoints while aligning with AWS design principles.
Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship building skills across all levels of management.
Interface with various customers and internal AWS stakeholders including senior leadership teams and project-level resources such as SMEs.
Present UX research findings, design decisions, and product strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven success in working with dispersed design and development teams in complex customer environments.
Team player who effectively integrates, motivates, and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (UX designers, developers, product managers) whether local or remote.
Lead agile ceremonies and facilitate design sprints with cross-functional teams to drive user-centered solutions.
