As a member of the AWS Customer Incident Response Team (CIRT) in the AWS Global Service Security (GSS) you will have the opportunity to help customers respond to security incidents and pioneer technically superb security solutions to help customer operate securely in the cloud.

Within this team, AWS CIRT is seeking a self-motivated leader with rich experience in customer service and interested in improving the way products are brought to market and distributed on a global scale to join us as a Program Manager for China. AWS CIRT is looking for a skilled and motivated senior Program Manager to expand the security program that responds to customer security incidents at scale. You will manage the roadmap and apply strong judgement that balances immediate security campaigns with longer-term, strategic planning. This role is inherently cross-functional, working closely with senior leadership, security engineers, and dozens of service teams. A successful candidate will have a good mix of deep technical security knowledge and a demonstrated track record of successful complex and large scale program/project deliveries.

Key job responsibilities:

  • A proven track record of implementing, delivering large projects and communicating effectively at executive level
  • Manage a portfolio of critical security offerings and services that are internal and external facing
  • Excellent program and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective prioritization of tasks, and seamless operation across organizational boundaries
  • Building and deploying training programs for all users in the Greater China Region
  • Brief customers on AWS CIRT and AWS Security Incident Response service
  • Continuously prioritize risk for service teams, security teams, and executive leadership
  • Collaborate with business/service teams to understand and confirm security assessment scope and controls design

About the team:

This role will be to join the AWS Customer Incident Response Team (CIRT) aka Zipline.
