TR operations is seeking a dynamic Last Mile 3P Carrier Operations Manager to spearhead the operations of its expanding network. This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage Last Mile operations, where one will drive operational excellence by managing key performance metrics, optimizing resource utilization, ensuring on-time shipments, and leading strategic planning. The role will be pivotal in launching new initiatives, adopting innovative technologies, and implementing continuous process improvements, shaping the future of logistics for TR.

Key job responsibilities:

• Manage critical performance metrics including delivery estimate accuracy, capacity utilization, cost efficiency, and on-time performance
• Develop and execute data-driven strategies to optimize network performance
• Orchestrate daily carrier operations and resource allocation in partnership with carriers and MFN business teams
• Lead new network activations and manage network modifications
• Ensure consistent delivery of shipments within established SLAs
• Design and implement comprehensive capacity strategies for both regular and peak operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on speed, capacity, and planning to optimize carrier network
• Optimize transit times and minimize network delays, while balancing cost to serve
• Identify and execute process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Drive technology adoption and programmatic initiatives to reduce costs
• Lead innovation projects to strengthen network capabilities
• Partner with carriers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to drive operational excellence
• Ensure seamless implementation of new initiatives across the network
• Foster collaborative relationships to support network growth and optimization

A day in the life:

A day in this role involves monitoring key performance metrics, coordinating with teams on ensuring on time pick ups/delivery performance and sufficient capacity across lanes. You will work on short term plans to increase quality and speed of the network. The role will require you to troubleshoot operational issues. Additionally, you'll strategize and implement new initiatives, optimize for cost and efficiency through internal and external stakeholders.
