Security Engineering Senior Engineer -- Paul

As a Security Engineering – Senior Engineer, you are an expert in the Information, Engineering and Cyber Security domains, applying your extensive knowledge in security technologies, cloud and corporate networks to shape the security controls required within solution designs (both people, process and technical) and identify, communicate and help treat corresponding security risks. Through your strong knowledge of existing and emerging technology, you are able deliver a superior security and network experience for our consumers. You do this by drawing on your deep levels of cyber security and engineering knowledge and experience to provide specialist analysis, design, development and deployment in Network and IT specific technology domains. You play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy and protecting Telstra's assets, acting as a trusted adviser to our people, teams, cyber, engineering and DevOps leaders to build our cyber capability.

Key Accountabilities

Include:

• As the Senior Engineer - IGA, you will guide the other Identity engineers and lead in the development and integration of SailPoint solution with Telstra internal systems with a strong focus on automation.
• Lead the integration, configuration, and implementations of IGA solution. Develop and enhance patterns of integrations with various target systems for rapid onboarding using out of the box capabilities.
• Analyse and advise on Identity requirements to ensure effective and appropriate solutions are being provided to the internal customers during application onboarding.
• Prepare detailed work instructions for production deployments of SailPoint integrations.
• Maintain tracking and traceability between requirements, design, and test cases to demonstrate evidence of milestones to achieve solutions.

Skills Essential to This Role

• Extensive hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ and solutions in a large enterprise environment.
• Be able to demonstrate a delivery of solutions for application integrations with enhanced user experience and automation in focus.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Directory technologies.
• Be able to demonstrate a delivery of solutions for integration of applications (including Identity Providers) with third-party Directory solutions.
• Familiarity with other Identity Access Governance (IGA) Capabilities.
• Be able to demonstrate understanding of IGA tools to the level required to successfully deliver IGA integrations.
• Experience with policy servers, secure edge and related technologies.
• Experience with cloud and CI/CD tools and technologies.
• Develops concepts following agreed Agile practices and adaptive plans in line with project vision and outcomes.
• Collaborates in multidisciplinary teams to leverage diverse skills, experiences and perspectives.
• Tests concepts with customers continually using showcases and demos.
• Incorporates feedback throughout the development cycle to drive achievement of acceptance criteria.
• Follows reporting process on agreed Agile metrics.
• Clearly explains and presents ideas/arguments, regularly checking for understanding.
