Regulatory Operations function within EC&O, supporting regulatory compliance through innovation, automation and cross-functional collaboration. The team partners closely with business areas to uplift regulatory capability, embed effective controls and support consistent, high-quality regulatory outcomes.
Establish and lead the line 1 shared service controls testing function within regulatory operations, including operating model, scope and ways of working
Define and embed standardised control testing methodology, testing standards and reporting across ASX
Oversee delivery of risk-based control testing across priority risks, obligations and critical services
Ensure clear segregation of duties between control ownership, execution and testing activities
Provide consolidated insights on control effectiveness, systemic issues and remediation themes to senior management and governance forums
Partner with automation, data and risk transformation teams to progressively uplift control testing efficiency and quality
Extensive experience in risk, compliance and internal controls in a highly regulated environment
Demonstrated development / leadership of control testing, assurance or operational risk functions
Demonstrated experience with complex regulatory obligations, risk frameworks and control environments
Proven people leadership and stakeholder management experience at senior levels
Experience establishing or scaling a centralised control testing, assurance or shared services capability.
Exposure to controls architecture, risk transformation or enterprise risk uplift programs.
Experience engaging with regulators, supervisors or auditors on control effectiveness and assurance matters.
Familiarity with GRC systems, control taxonomies and risk reporting frameworks.
Experience partnering with data, automation or technology teams to improve control testing efficiency and insight.
