About this opportunity:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer within the General Insurance (GI) Platform, you'll be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintainability of scalable DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks that empower our Feature and Lab teams to deliver faster, safer, and more reliable outcomes. You'll technically influence tooling choices, promote standards, advocate DevOps principles.

What you'll do:
You'll feel excited by the prospect of making lasting positive impact through:
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across multiple environments
- Architect and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Lead the orchestration and automation of infrastructure and application deployments using tools like Kubernetes, Docker and Harness
- Collaborate with teams across our Platform to recommend and implement the right DevOps tooling and automation strategies aligned with our enterprise architecture
- Continuously improve deployment processes, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high availability and performance
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies such as AI-driven DevOps, observability platforms and Agentic automation frameworks
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, and security practices, contributing to initiatives
- Manage and track budgets related to DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Encourage collaboration and documentation to promote consistency in approaches across team

What you'll need:
- Proven experience in a senior DevOps or cloud engineering role, ideally within a fast-paced, agile environment
- Deep expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform across Windows, Linux and OCP \ GCP
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience using Harness or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, cloud security, and SRE practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A passion for automation, scalability, and delivering high-quality solutions
- Experience working effectively within teams to embed a culture of collaboration and ownership. Contributing to Communities of Practice where colleagues share knowledge, take initiative and deliver on commitment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Proven track record using critical thinking to solve sophisticated infrastructure and deployment challenges
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a customer-centric approach
- Awareness of technology intelligence trends, including Generative AI, LLMs and their impact on DevOps practices
- Understanding of networking concepts across public cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Support & Troubleshooting: Remote operations, incident response, and environment health checks.
