Operations Coordinator

The Role
The operations coordinator will support the day-to-day delivery of Logitech G experience marketing programs in China. Based in Shanghai, this role works closely with the operations lead and project manager to help ensure gaming and esports activities are executed smoothly across planning, live operations, prize fulfillment, player communication, and reporting.
This role is a good fit for a candidate with hands-on experience in event operations, community management, or program coordination within the China gaming market. The successful candidate should be organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting fast-paced projects across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Event Operations and Execution
- Support event planning and execution across China experience marketing programs in coordination with the operations lead and project manager.
- Prepare and maintain event documentation, including rules, schedules, prize information, operational checklists, and platform-specific requirements.
- Support live event operations across China-relevant platforms such as Bilibili, Douyin, and WeChat, helping ensure a smooth participant experience.
- Conduct game and program research, including competition rules, commonly used formats, title-specific requirements, and operational considerations for relevant games in China.
- Provide operational and technical support during live events, including platform coordination, issue follow-up, in-game support, and real-time troubleshooting.
- Handle player questions and disputes during events in a timely, fair, and professional manner.
- Support the preparation of terms and conditions and related documentation for China programs in line with local requirements.
Prize Fulfillment and Administrative Support
- Manage and follow up on the prize claim process, including winner communication, data collection, record organization, and required documentation.
- Coordinate prize fulfillment in compliance with local requirements, including individual income tax information collection, domestic shipping arrangements, and digital payment support through compliant channels.
- Track winner records and event-related prize data accurately to support tax reporting, financial processes, and internal record keeping.
- Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure prize delivery is completed accurately and on time.
Community and Player Communication
- Support player and community communication across platforms such as WeChat groups, QQ communities, Bilibili, and other relevant channels, maintaining a professional and responsive tone.
- Write event announcements, operational updates, and community-facing copy in Mandarin for platforms such as WeChat, QQ, Bilibili, and Douyin, adapting tone and format to the platform and audience.
- Support moderation and day-to-day management of community channels to maintain a positive, organized, and engaging user environment.
- Help optimize community workflows, tools, and communication processes based on program needs and audience behavior.
Data and Reporting
- Perform data entry, tracking, and organization for China program results across events, activities, and community channels.
- Collect event data, participant feedback, and operational insights to support reporting and continuous improvement.
- Use collaboration and task management tools such as Asana, Google workspace, Slack, and WeCom to track responsibilities, progress, and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in operations, community management, event coordination, or a related role, preferably in gaming, esports, or digital communities in China.
- Strong familiarity with major China gaming and community platforms such as WeChat, QQ, Bilibili, Douyin, and Huya.
- Experience supporting or managing online event operations, including player communication, schedule coordination, and result tracking.
- Understanding of community operations and content tone for China gaming audiences.
- Working knowledge of prize fulfillment processes in China, including tax-related information collection, domestic logistics coordination, and digital payment platforms.
- Strong written and spoken Mandarin, with working English skills for communication with global team members.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, responsiveness, and execution discipline.
- Interest in gaming and esports, with a practical understanding of China's player community and competitive landscape.
- Able to support cross-time-zone collaboration and occasional evening or weekend work during event periods.
- Willingness to travel domestically within China and internationally when required.
- This role is based in Logitech G's Shanghai office and requires regular on-site collaboration.
Education
Associate degree or above is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
