Military Installation Support Program Specialist

Salary Range: The range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will be commensurate with experience. National Grade 13, exempt, remote $67,360 - $84,200 per fiscal year commensurate with experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Military Installation Support Program's overall business unit with executing on a strategic plan to achieve or exceed goals for assigned solutions.

  • Research and have an understanding of enterprise solutions and be familiar with their function and purpose to expand awareness of compatible contracts, products, or services.
  • Research and have a basic understanding of government structure and legal requirements as it relates to positioning Sourcewell's solutions, within the Military Installation Program framework and Intergovernmental Support Agreements (IGSA).
  • Research and have an understanding of assigned categories and industries.
  • Coordinate and ensure all aspects related to an effective client experience have been completed.
  • Coordinate and support training via webcast in the Sourcewell studio and/or through group meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate efforts of clients to support Sourcewell's contract use to achieve Sourcewell and supplier contract utilization and Military Installation Support Program revenue goals.
  • Facilitate and ensure completion of the business review process.
  • Coordinate vertical or client advisory committees and ensure that participants are updated with results from the meetings.
  • Coordinate business unit tradeshow and other event presence, and occasionally attend these events.

Perform requirements of the contract management process for assigned clients.

  • Perform quality control on contract documentation to ensure that all contract terms are met and that contract information in the Contract Database is up to date.
  • Receive and organize documentation and template change requests, consult with business unit, process requests and update systems for business unit.
  • Obtain information on contract renewals and new awards, ensuring clear communication is presented to the Military Installation Support team.
  • Collect and organize collateral from suppliers and/or installations to ensure all meets Sourcewell criteria and brand standards.
  • Obtain and update Salesforce, Smartsheet, and other systems with client, supplier, and partner information, ensuring information is accurate.
  • Ensure that information flows smoothly between suppliers and internal & external clients ensuring that information about the effective use of Sourcewell contracts is communicated as necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues on our Sourcewell team, to resolve problems and to ensure that participating installations/clients have the information that they need to use Sourcewell contracts.
  • Support the invoice and payment process by working with suppliers and installations/clients to ensure that invoices and payments are received, reconciled, and provided to the Finance team in a timely manner.

Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the Military Installation Support team.

  • Provide technical expertise, application administration, and training on Salesforce, Smartsheet, Workday, Power BI and other account related systems to the team.
  • Develop standard work instructions, policies, and procedures, whilst also supporting leadership with new hire onboarding processes.

Additional Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field AND one (1) year of demonstrated experience sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, OR
  • A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of three (3) years.
  • Experience working in a business environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Experience serving internal or external customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of demonstrated experience sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and administration of Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Power BI.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of Salesforce.
  • Experience in Construction Administration.

  • This is a remote position.
  • On occasion may be expected to attend meetings or trainings at Sourcewell's headquarters in Staples, MN, advance notice would be given to team member.
