Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is looking for an Administrative Volunteer to help coordinate our Volunteers and Interns. This position will work with under the direction of the Manager of the Recruitment Department and perform a wide range of basic recruitment functions. This is a great position for anyone interested in building a career in Human Resources and Recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review resumes and screen against minimum qualifications
  • Make calls to students and community members interested in volunteering at FHCSD
  • Data entry, complete basic new hire paperwork and HRIS functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Interest in volunteering
  • Administrative experience
  • Passion for mission oriented, non-profit organizations
  • Strong computer abilities and communication skills
  • Ability to create and stick with a regular in office schedule
  • Ability to work well in both a team-based environment and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and respect diversity
  • Must maintain good working relationships
  • Proactive communicator
