Job Description

Position Summary

As our Agency Services Analyst you will act as the main point of contact for our new agencies and agents as we onboard them into our business. Using your exceptional customer service skills, you will assist with onboarding new agencies and agents into our systems, provide ongoing guidance for licensing requirements and continuing education hours and field questions from existing AgriSompo employees. Our Agency and Adjuster Services Analyst is responsible, highly organized, and focused with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. In addition to being resourceful and independent, the individual should have a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time. They should possess the leadership skills and drive that are needed to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and build trust and credibility with the team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the applicable team members through the on-boarding and off-boarding process of the appropriate parties.
  • Verify and process appointment and cancellation requests. Deliver appropriate notifications and reports.
  • Maintain appointment records for AABIC and document storage.
  • Record and reconcile fees for appointments.
  • Perform various tasks relating to the agent, agency, and adjuster's licensure and appointing procedures.
  • Perform various reporting responsibilities, as determined by the AVP Agency Services
  • Monitors and tracks compliance requirements and error reports for agents, agency employees, and agencies.
  • Document management in applicable systems and necessary portals for all users and agencies.
  • Review and update licenses for agents and agencies.
  • Facilitate CIA and AgWorks access for all applicable users and assist IT team with AgriNet Access.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding information received from managerial staff.
  • Cross-train with other supporting departments to expand knowledge of insurance products offered by AgriSompo
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Position Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

Required – High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience.

Preferred - Previous experience in federal or state regulated programs and regulations.

Preferred - Previous experience in the management of licensure, specifically agent, agency, and/or adjuster licensing.

Preferred - Previous experience with the management of Fresh Service IT Service Desk tickets or a like system.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Polished professional with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of general business and corporate cultures
  • Advanced skills in Outlook and other MS Office programs (Excel, Word, OneNote)
  • Advanced skills in DocuSign preferred
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to details.
  • Excellent time management; able to effectively prioritize.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, adapting to unexpected events, responding well to change.
  • Proactive with ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and reprioritize tasks based on new information or shifting deadlines.
  • Exemplary demonstrated work ethic and pro-active, 'can do' approach.
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
  • Must have excellent judgement, independent thinker and resourceful.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Ability to stand or sit constantly.

Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading.

Environmental Conditions

The work environment described here are meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

Travel, up to 5% to attend meetings and/or trainings.

Salary Range: $40,000 - 55,000 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
