XD Design Engineering is a small team of engineers with a big mandate: to develop, maintain, and innovate the Design Platform central to Netflix's product development lifecycle. Our goal is to improve product development velocity without compromising on fidelity and to increase efficiency of the design/engineering handoff. Our portfolio includes API services, web apps, and Figma Plugins, serving a diverse range of cross-functional partners, from product designers and project managers to software engineers.
In this high-impact role, you'll work on a portfolio of productivity tools designed to accelerate the product design lifecycle at Netflix. You'll collaborate closely with both designers and engineers, working with platform and product teams to drive innovation. You'll lead and champion projects and effectively communicate their impact to partner teams. You will also gather input from stakeholders, identifying opportunities to help set a long-term technical strategy that continuously evolves the design tooling portfolio to ensure it remains best-in-class.

Compensation Range
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
