The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, strong Administrative Assistant to support the executives on the Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team in APAC. CPS&O is the team responsible for the analytical efforts and strategic thinking behind the content programming strategy, working across content buying and original content decisions. The candidate will be asked to provide calendar and travel support to specific executives in the team, as well as to manage and coordinate team-wide events.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactively tackle challenges and plan accordingly, be quick-thinking and flexible, and be able to juggle multiple, diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times. Someone who is curious, demonstrates significant initiative, and inherently exercises good judgment will be most successful both in the role and at Netflix.
| Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively complete calendar management, which includes scheduling meetings, managing and prioritizing scheduling conflicts that often include cross-functional and cross-country coordination across multiple time zones, and confirming meetings multiple weeks to months in advance
- Complete travel management, including booking travel, organizing trip itineraries, and coordinating logistics. Coordinating detailed and sometimes challenging travel arrangements, maintaining passports, visas, and entry documents, as well as keeping the executives aware of travel restrictions and proactively scheduling and completing any and all applicable appointments and paperwork before and during travel
- Manage and process expense reports with accuracy and compliance, ensuring timely reimbursements and financial reporting
- Plan team and cross-functional off-sites through coordination with various partners
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Content and cross-functional admins in many different markets
- Work independently and remotely from the executives
- Consistently maintain flexibility and openness to take on additional tasks as necessary or assigned, and consistently seek opportunities to support and enable the Content team to achieve maximum efficiency and output
We're looking for:
- 8+ years of experience as an executive/administrative assistant supporting an executive and a dynamic team
- Strong and efficient written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English are a must
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Groups, Docs, Sheets
- High attention to detail
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts effectively and proactively
- Understand how to prioritize and respond accordingly
- Responsive and able to work flexibly across multiple time zones
- Able to stay calm under pressure and work on short deadlines
- Flexible and proactive team player who operates comfortably in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with the ability to multitask
- Excellent judgment - is discreet and can maintain confidential information
- Independent worker, with strong judgment and the ability to prioritize and respond accordingly, sometimes without direction from the executives
- Ability to travel for business (~10%)
- Must be excited to learn about and thrive in the Netflix culture
